Twin activists and philanthropists Tena Lundquist Faust and Tama Lundquist take matters in their own hands to save animal from the streets of Houston. Animal welfare advocates and law enforcement agencies came together to remind folks about the ongoing enforcement of the Safe Outdoor Dogs Act.

Animal shelters throughout the country are overpopulated. Many have closed or modified intake. Houston is not immune.

It is Houston law to get your pet microchipped, but for different reasons, not all pets are microchipped. One Houston man said not getting his dog microchipped is his biggest regret.
