Pearland police said Tuesday that Jaivan Simpson was found safe with his mother. He was taken by 22-year-old Jada Williams about 7 p.m. Williams had threatened to hurt herself and the child, according to officials. The child was released to family members and Williams was taken into custody for a terroristic threat misdemeanor, according to police. Police said the case is still being investigated.
