Typhoon Texas in Katy recently live-streamed a video that received a lot of comments from people criticizing guests of failing to social distance. We have taken several steps to ensure a safe family-friendly waterpark experience with acceptable social distancing for loungers, cabanas and seating areas. Measures taken include hand sanitation stations, tube disinfecting at every use, health & social distance signage, and tips on a Good. As for masks, the Centers for Disease Control advises against wearing them in water as they can be difficult to breathe through when wet.

Your 2020 Splashtown season pass is good for the remainder of the 2020 season at Typhoon Texas. You have to buy a 2021 Typhoon Texas season pass. If Splashtown does eventually reopen this season, Typhoon Texas says you can still enjoy both parks. Typhoon Texas is requiring guests to make reservations in advance before visiting the park so they can limit capacity and allow enough space for social distancing.

Greg Abbott’s order. The park had planned on opening April 11 but plans changed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the water park has implemented new sanitation guidelines and social distancing rules and is prepared to open once Abbott gives the authorization to do so. “We like to say it’s a summer job you can brag about,” said Typhoon Texas President and General Manager Evan Barnett.
