Hazmat crews are working a scene where they said an 18-wheeler has crashed and began leaking fuel on the Gulf Freeway.

A man’s body was found under a bridge in northeast Houston Thursday, the Houston Police Department said.

Lane closures on I-45 Gulf Freeway northbound at Griggs to Wayside are the cause of major traffic delays Monday, according to TranStar.

At least one person died Sunday after a vehicle drove off of a bridge and plunged into a bayou in northeast Houston, police said.

Drivers are currently experiencing traffic delays after an 18-wheeler hit a bridge on the East Freeway Wednesday.

The Harris County Flood Control District kicked off their construction back in April 2020. Both bridges will be replaced with a newbridge that will have four 11-foot wide lanes and 10-foot sidewalks on both sides of the bridge. The Lawndale bridge will have two 6-feet bike lanes. Construction is expected to wrap up this Spring.
