The first curfew will go into effect at 10 p.m. Tuesday night. Galveston Mayor Pro Tem Craig Brown signed the order Tuesday implementing the curfew, which prevents people from being on public streets or right-of-way and begins at 10 p.m. tonight, officials wrote on Facebook. The goal of the curfew is to protect residents from looters. Curfews will be in place for these times:Tuesday at 10 p.m. until Wednesday at 6 a.m.Wednesday at 8 p.m. until Thursday at 6 a.m.Thursday at 8 p.m. until Friday at 6 a.m.

Virus cases had already been on the rise since the beginning of July, when an earlier lockdown was lifted and Lebanon’s only international airport was reopened. The blast overwhelmed the city’s hospitals and also badly damaged two that had a key role in handling virus cases. On Wednesday and Thursday, the UAE discovered over 400 confirmed cases of the virus, its highest numbers in about a month amid an aggressive testing campaign.

We will not tolerate any more damage to our city,” Hall said during a news conference. The curfew will encompass Dallas neighborhoods including Deep Ellum, The Cedars, the central business district, Victory Park and Uptown. Hall told Dallas residents that they would not be able to access these areas during the curfew. Earlier in the day, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson told WFAA-TV he was considering implementing a curfew.
