HOUSTON – Sheletta Brundidge and her family are driving from Minnesota to Lake Charles, Louisiana to try and put smiles on the faces of children impacted by the recent hurricanes. But like many Houstonians, she has strong family ties to Lake Charles. That’s Kimberly’s mother, along with my uncle Charles. She said she expects to be in Lake Charles by Friday morning. The book and toy giveaway will take place at the Central Library located at 301 Claude Street at 9 am.
