Kelley said it’s teenagers who are trespassing her space. "We have a lot of kids go up on the roof to do all kinds of things, illegal things they should not be doing," she said. The business owners want to know why the girls were out at that time of night and what they were doing together. I saw them digging through the ditch, walking behind this building, I saw they had taken out my handicap ramp," Kelley said.

Owner Matt Brice said he has decided to reject the Harris County's stay-at-home order, initially signed in mid-March. Brice said he has the support of Hedwig Village, including the mayor. Brice said it all comes down to fairness, which businesses were considered "essential" and which were not under County Judge Hidalgo's order. Still, Brice said he would comply with orders to cease dine-in options if enforced.
