And everyone belongs to some groups -- race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, occupation, college affiliation, religion, neighborhood, even your favorite sports team. What you can deconstruct are those automatic, implicit, instantaneous and often negative associations with racial groups that are different than our own.
