Rosharon teen launches youth entrepreneurship program
Jordyn Wright is a 15-year-old who’s been racking up national honors thanks to her visionary program helping local youth launch their own businesses! Jordyn is the award-winning founder of J. Brielle Handmade Goods, a bath and beauty company that makes natural skin care products for teens. She also runs an annual youth market event and leads a team of youth volunteers via her Passion to Purpose program, a nonprofit organization that provides resources, programming, and access to community-based events that support youth, ages 8 - 18, in developing strong financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills. This Spring, she was one of five Grand Prize winners in the Prudential Emerging Visionaries Program in New Jersey where she received a $15,000 award to expand her program and start the “Maker Space” that she envisions for local teens.
