Premature infant found abandoned near bayou in W Harris County

A premature infant girl was found abandoned near a bayou in west Harris County, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies. Deputies responded to the 5500 block of Casa Martin around 9 a.m., where they discovered the infant. The baby, still with the umbilical cord attached, was found wrapped in a blanket.
