Houston area under Hard Freeze Warning

HOUSTON – Roads remain icy Wednesday morning as temperatures stay dangerously cold in the low-20s and will not be above freezing until Monday.

Hard freeze conditions are widespread and wind chills will feel more like the teens and even single digits.

We are under a Hard Freeze Warning until 10 a.m.

A Wind Chill Advisory is also in effect until 10 a.m.

Officials warn drivers to use extreme caution, especially on bridges and overpasses. Drivers are advised to stay off the roads, if possible.

We finally break out of the deep freeze by Thursday and Friday with temperatures back in the 40s and finally 60s.
