Storms will move off to the east later this evening

No description found

Tonight’s Forecast:

Tonight we will see a few lingering showers and cloudy skies. You will certainly notice the winds sustained at 10-15mph and at times gusting to 20mph. Overnight temperatures will stay mild in the mid-60s due to the cloud cover and westerly component of the winds. Winds from the west are warm.

Foggy Commute:

As many areas saw some decent rain as the storms moved through Thursday afternoon, we’re still seeing a steady southeast wind that will keep temperatures very mild, in the mid 60s through the night. The cold front will slide to the coast and stall, so with the wet ground and plenty of moisture coming in from the Gulf, expect to see some patchy dense fog around sunrise for most of the region for the morning drive.

Friday’s Forecast:

Some patchy fog will be possible early Friday morning. We will see rain chances possible through the day, but we are not expecting anything severe. High temperatures will top out in the lower-70s. If you’re heading out to any events Friday night, like the Sugar Land tree lighting, we are not expecting any storms.
