This Afternoon’s Forecast:
Our cold front passed through overnight bringing widespread 1-2″ of rainfall. All of our rain has cleared SE Texas and we will stay dry for the remainder of the weekend! The clouds have been clearing out bringing a gorgeous sunny afternoon. We do have gusty winds from the north behind the cold front. Winds will stay breezy through the day with cooler temperatures staying in the 50s to near 60 degrees.
Sunday’s Forecast:
Sunday will be wonderful! It will be sunny with high temperatures in the mid-60s. Winds will be light from the north.
Next Week:
We will start off next week with beautiful weather! Highs will be in the 60s and 70s with dry skies. Tuesday will be a bit cooler due to extra cloud
10-Day forecast:
The official start to Winter (the solstice) is on Thursday at 9:27PM. We will start off the winter season with an unsettled weather pattern. This unfortunately means right now we do have rain showers in the forecast for Christmas Eve and Christmas. It is still ten days out, which means our timeline can change. Regardless, if you’re hosting for the holidays I’d come up with some indoor activities that your guests can do while showers pass. My family likes to make homemade ornaments for our Christmas tree.
