HOUSTON – KPRC 2 is continuing to track showers and thunderstorms moving throughout the day Tuesday.
This morning, we’re tracking some light rain across SE Texas and thunderstorms closer to the coast. We will see rounds of showers and storms possible through the day today. Some of these storms may become strong to severe.

We expect the heaviest part of the rain to be on Wednesday morning between 4 a.m. - 7 a.m. so the morning commute could cause trouble for Houston drivers. Especially as localized heavy rainfall is possible, leading to street flooding.
