Howdy, Houstonians! 🤠👋 It’s been quite the wild ride on the weather front this week, hasn’t it? From shivering in our boots on Monday and Tuesday to basking in the glory of sunshine on Wednesday, and now, well, brace yourselves – the cold isn’t ready to bid us farewell just yet.

Let’s take a roller coaster ride through the upcoming days of Houston’s meteorological adventure.

What to expect through Friday of next week (Copyright 2023 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.)

Wednesday - Bidding adieu to the chill 👋

Today marks the end of our chilly saga as temperatures flirt with the 40s to low 50s. The sun is out, spreading warmth like a cozy blanket, and the bone-chilling cold is taking a backseat. Hold on to your hats, Houston – we’re in for a pleasant ride with highs reaching the upper 40s under sunny skies. It’s a weather treat served just right!

Thursday - A warm hug before the next cold front 😎

Thursday is like that warm, comforting friend who drops by for a quick visit before another frosty blast. We’ll be soaking in the upper 60s, enjoying the brief respite before our temperature takes a dip on Friday. No precipitation is on the menu, but make sure to savor the warmth because come Saturday morning, we might be back in the 20s.

Friday - Chilling out again, literally 🥶

As we bid farewell to Thursday’s warmth, Friday ushers in breezy winds and colder temperatures. Highs will range from the low 40s to low 50s, depending on your proximity to the coast, and Friday night’s lows will have you reaching for that extra layer – we’re talking low to mid-20s up north! Bundle up, folks, it’s going to be a cold one.

But fear not! The weekend might start chilly, but a gradual warm-up is on the horizon. By Monday through Wednesday, we’ll be basking in the 60s and possibly even hitting the 70s. Before you get too comfortable, though, Saturday brings one last icy hurrah north of I-10, just to keep things interesting.

And wait, there’s more! Rainfall is making a comeback toward the end of the weekend and into the middle of the week. Get ready for an umbrella dance as storm systems organize out west, promising several inches of rain or more. Houston, always keeping us on our toes!
