Overnight forecast:

The line of severe weather that pounded the Houston area Friday afternoon and evening pushed off to the east after dropping as much as 2″ of rain in some spots. As rain moves out , clouds stick around with mild temperatures overnight.

2″ sized hail reported with today’s severe storms. Leaving Belleville and even Sugar Land covered in hail.

Saturday’s forecast:

More storms are possible on Saturday, with the strongest storms likely to be south of I-10. The showers and storms come in waves, but there is still a moderate flood threat that includes all of SE Texas.

Sunday’s forecast:

The front finally moves through Sunday. We’ll start the day with more thunderstorms. The afternoon dries out and ushers in cooler temperatures for the start of next week.

10-day forecast:

The front lowers temperatures next week. Highs are only in the 60s Tuesday with a morning temperature in the 40s. We have another chance of rain Wednesday and Thursday.

Rain and storms continue then we sunshine returns early week.
