Friday’s Forecast:

Our weather will start off really pleasant Friday morning. Temperatures will be in the mid-50s with low humidity. Dry air warms up quicker than humid air which means we will be very warm by the afternoon! Friday at 4PM highs will be in the upper-80s.

Solar Eclipse Trouble:

We’re watching Monday’s forecast carefully as a cold front will move in late Sunday and stall Monday. The data has consistently been showing rain and thick clouds in Houston. If this forecast doesn’t change we won’t see anything in southeast Texas. The latest update shows rain back along the path of totality on the American model.

10-day forecast:

It gets cloudy and humid Saturday with our next chance of rain Sunday. The issue with this rain is it will linger through Wednesday of next week. And that would mean our eclipse viewing may be cloudy and rainy Monday in Houston. The solar eclipse forecast is something we’ll watch very carefully.
