Monday’s Forecast:
Monday will be warm, muggy and cloudy. As the day progresses we will see an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms may become strong to severe. Our highest chance for severe storms is to our north.
Solar Eclipse Trouble Monday:
Monday’s eclipse forecast looks cloudy and possibly rainy in Houston. Along the path of totality there is hope for enough clearing to see the eclipse. But the forecast is for clouds to impact viewing. For more on our solar eclipse forecast, check out this article.
Severe weather & flooding possible Monday afternoon - Wednesday:
We have a severe threat Monday, primarily north of our area. Hail and damaging winds will be the primary threat. Tuesday we have chances through the day. Wednesday we will see the low pressure system move right over us, which will bring another severe threat. Wednesday’s storms look to be before sunrise.

We get back to dry weather Thursday. The forecast for next weekend’s Crawfish Festival looks great!
