A sticky situation for Houston as temperatures and humidity rise

Clouds increase ahead of late week cold front

Dew points go from the 60s to the 70s, making it feel muggy starting Monday.
Monday’s Forecast:

Monday morning you can ditch the hoodies and sweaters , Houston waking up to milder temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s with highs in the low and mid 80s.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies with breezy conditions through the afternoon and evening.

Humidity will continue to increase this week and by Wednesday it will feel like early summer with feels like temperatures flirting with the low 90s. With more moisture expect to see more clouds than sun throughout the week but rain chances hold off until late week.

Heading for higher humidity this week.
Rainfall outlook:

Tuesday a cold front moves through the lone star state but it doesn’t bring enough energy to trigger storms for SE Texas. Severe weather will stay north of Houston.

A weak front brings an increase in clouds Tuesday, but rain chances will be hard to come by for SE Texas.

Although clouds increase early week rain chances are best late week along a cold front. Thursday night through Friday is when we have the best chance for showers but right now it doesn’t look like a washout.

Low end rain chances return Thursday and Friday along a cold front.
10-Day Forecast:

Be ready for some toasty and muggy weather to return next week as mornings will stay warm in the 70s and highs generally in the mid to upper 80s. Winds also increase early week with gust near 25 mph.

Heating up with late week rain chances
