Thursday’s Forecast:

Thursday will be mostly cloudy and humid with temperatures starting in the mid-70s and warming to the mid-80s. There is a chance for a few peaks of sunshine, especially south of I-10. If we do get sunshine temperatures will reach the upper-80s to near 90 degrees.

Cool front moves in Sunday morning:

We have a small chance of rain Friday with our next cold front moving in Sunday morning. Our weather Saturday depends on how far south the rain forms ahead of the front. Right now I’ve got a 40% chance of rain and storms. Sunday will be stormy in the morning with a flood threat. The highest threat is north of Houston where rain totals can get as high as 6″-8″.

Sunday’s front lowers morning temperatures to the 50s early next week. We will also see humidity drop, which will make it feel crisp in the morning! Mild high temperatures are short lived, only with us Sunday and Monday.
