Sunday’s Forecast:
You’ll feel the warmth and humidity as soon as you step outside, but the sunshine will be hard to come by. Sunday starts off mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing by the afternoon.
Sunday’s Storm Timeline:
A cool front moves far enough south Sunday to create a line of thunderstorms that will move into Southeast Texas. The strongest storms seem to set up north of I-10 on Sunday - where there is a 2/5 on the severe threat level.
The scattered storms and showers start to develop around lunchtime and continue through Monday morning. These storms can be strong brining potential for hail, strong winds and locally heavy rain leading to minor street flood threat.
10-Day Forecast:
Still can’t rule out some heating-of-the-day showers during the first week of May. We are still waiting on that first 90° day of the year, but next weekend may give us our last taste of spring!
