A line of powerful thunderstorms moved through the Houston area Thursday evening.

Parts of Houston picked up over 2 inches while , northern cities received 3 to 5 inches.

Friday’s Forecast:

We have one last round of storms that moving through Friday evening. The highest chance of getting strong thunderstorms is in Houston and south of I-10. It is possible to get more severe weather of damaging winds and hail is there but the threat is low.

Starting tomorrow we head toward a much more sable weather pattern. It will be hot with temperatures climbing to the lower 90s. The humidity goes up Sunday.
