Houston’s hot and humid stretch continues.

What you need to know especially if you don’t have electricity!

And with the most recent power outages - it’s important to stay cool.

-Make sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

-Spend part of your day in places with AC - like the mall, the movie theater or even the library.

- Shut off the heat to rooms that face the sun by closing the blinds and the door.

- Cool off by putting your towels, blankets, and washcloths in ice.

There is also an Air Quality Alert for Harris, Brazoria and Galveston counties due to high ozone levels. If you suffer from respiratory illness limit your time outside.

A few showers are possible late week otherwise most days are sunny. This pattern is much more of a summertime pattern with heat and humidity through Sunday of next week.
