Check out our current radar below. We’ll track some light showers along the coast through the night and expect to see some additional showers drifting in from the coast for most of the weekend. Nothing too serious overall, thankfully.

Saturday’s Forecast:

The weekend will be hot and mostly rain-free aside from a few afternoon pop-up storms each afternoon. Be ready for feels like numbers to move back up into the upper 90s and low 100s.

Tracking The Tropics:

There is a a 50% chance to see another tropical low develop in the Bay of Campeche, similar to the location that Alberto formed.

This one, we’ll be tracking through the weekend, however, with the strong high pressure centered across the southeast US, it will steer whatever form the storm takes also into Mexico, away from the Texas coastline.

High pressure will steer the deepest tropical moisture away from SE Texas this weekend through next week.
10-Day Forecast:

Get outside this weekend as rain chances stay minimal. Rain chances increase slightly early week as tropical moisture attempts to organize in the Bay of Campeche.
