A heat advisory is in place through 8PM Wednesday. Forecast high temperatures will be in the mid-90s. When you factor in the humidity it will feel up to 105°. Please be careful while cleaning up outside. Listen to your body and take breaks in the shade. Drink water. If you need help cooling down, cooling centers are activated across Houston.
Tracking the tropics:
There is no tropical activity in the Gulf, Caribbean or Atlantic Ocean. In fact the entire northern hemisphere is quiet. This is unheard of for July.
10-day Forecast:
For those that don’t have power, it will be very uncomfortable until the power comes back on. Rain chances increase slightly into the weekend.
