Mold spores add to the misery level in Houston after Hurricane Beryl

Mold

HOUSTON – Hurricane Beryl’s aftermath left many with water in their homes and cars, and millions without power across the Houston area.

As clean-up efforts are underway, like picking up broken tree limbs, debris from yards, and possible water damage in your home, mold may become a problem for many.

To prevent mold from growing in your home air out rooms and disinfect around your house.

If you’ve lost power, clean out your refrigerator and disinfect it as well.

Unfortunately with climate change, we will only see our mold issues continue to grow.

Climate change will increase our mold issues. (Copyright 2024 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.)
