Pattern Change:

As we approach Sunday, we’ll finally start to see some shifting from the hot high pressure ridge baking Texas as it retreats into the Central Plains. We’ll be tracking a surface low sliding in from the eastern side of the Gulf that will pull a lot of deeper tropical moisture with it.

As the moisture moves in, we’ll flip the script on our sizzling forecast this week and turn up the rain chances for most of next week. Expect to see some heavy downpours at times each afternoon.
