Saturday’s Forecast:
Finally saying goodbye to showers this weekend. Saturday, southeast Texas wakes up to dry and comfortable conditions. Morning temperatures start in the low 60s. Afternoon highs reach the upper 80s, and it comes with low humidity, making for
fantastic patio weather. The fall-like air will continue into Sunday.
Tracking The Tropics:
A low in the southern Gulf of Mexico has a 40% chance of developing into a tropical system over the next seven days.
Most data shows that this will slowly work its way north into the Texas Coast. If the system develops, it will be called Francine.
If this storm doesn’t develop, southeast Texas will still see days of rain that may lead to flooding. Some coastal areas could potentially pick up 7 inches, and the metro area around 5 inches.
10-day Forecast:
Cool mornings with low humidity will continue through Tuesday. By midweek, humidity levels will start to climb, and rain chances will increase as well.
