Tonight’s Forecast:
HOUSTON – Tonight, we will see increasing clouds with temperatures staying in the 70s. Additional cloud cover leads to warmer temperatures because it helps us retain heat from the day.
Saturday’s Forecast:
Our humidity continues to climb, which is why you have likely noticed more clouds. That’s not the only change, we’ll start to see a few rain chances push back into the picture as well. The chances will be 20-30% max. The rain chances are mainly for locations along and south of I-10. If you are north of I-10 you likely will remain dry.
We are not forecasting any severe weather, or any flooding. Rainfall accumulation looks to be up to an inch for our far coastal communities.
Sunday’s Forecast:
The Buffalo Bills come to Houston to play the Texans at NRG on Sunday! Kick-off is at noon, which means nice but hot weather for our loyal tailgaters! We should be back to mostly sunny skies by kickoff, and it will be well into the low 90s.
Tracking the Tropics:
There is a 70% chance that a tropical system develops in the Gulf over the next seven days. At this point, development is more than likely, and it looks like major rain accompanied with strong winds and storm surge for Florida.
10-day Forecast:
A cold front moves through on Monday that will drop our highs to the 80s and lows into the lower-60s. No major cold front coming anytime soon, but we’re always watching out for it! Don’t worry, we do expect to cool down eventually this month.
