Cold front on the way Monday night

Monday temperatures still above average in the mid and upper 90s ahead of cold front.
Monday:

HOUSTON – Sunday high temperature of 94 tied the record set in 1928. We could see another day of record highs challenged Monday ahead of a cold front. Monday morning temperatures are in the upper 60s to low 70s. By the afternoon reaching highs in the mid 90s.

Cold Front on the Way:

Temperatures will go from the upper 90s to the upper 80s behind the front. However, no rain will come out of the front.

Tuesday cooler air arrives

The big change will be in humidity. The front zaps moisture out of the air making it feel comfortable at least through Thursday.

The heat and humidity hold on Monday then temperatures fall into the 60s for morning lows and upper 80s for daytime highs. If you are looking for anything cooler you’ll have to wait. There is no major cold front is coming anytime soon, but we’re always watching out for it! Don’t worry, we do expect to cool down eventually this month.
