HOUSTON – Enjoy that morning breeze, Houston!
Tonight’s Forecast:
Tonight we will cool down really efficiently! Dry air cools fast, which is why we will drop through the 70s and 60s through the night.
Overnight low temperatures will drop to the 50s for many!
Wednesday’s Forecast:
Forecast highs will still be in the upper-80s to lower-90s Wednesday, but we won’t have to deal with a heat index. We will FEEL like the upper-80s with sunshine. It should feel warm, but nice.
Tracking the Tropics:
We’re tracking Major Hurricane Milton that is moving across the Gulf of Mexico. Right now Milton is a category 5 hurricane. It is expected to weaken in the Eastern Gulf, but it will still be a major hurricane when it makes landfall in Florida on Wednesday night.
The cold front that moved through Texas will serve as a blocker to Milton for Texas and help to tug the storm into Florida by Wednesday.
10-day Forecast:
We will have dry and sunny conditions this week. You’ll notice our highs will stay warm in the upper-80s and lower-90s. There is no major cold front is coming anytime soon, but we’re always watching out for it! Don’t worry, we do expect to cool down eventually this month.
