Friday’s Forecast:
HOUSTON – Friday will be fantastic! We’ll start the day in the 50s and climb to the upper-70s and lower-80s. It should feel spectacular with low humidity and plenty of sunshine.

Weekend Forecast:
Although temperatures warm to the mid-80s, this weekend will still feel nice. Humidity goes up but is manageable. Temperatures are seasonal, a big contrast to how we started the month.
Eventual Warm Up:
We would love to say that this is the end of the above average temps as we’re get deeper into October. However, next week, the temperatures hang out near 90°!
Tracking the Tropics:
There are two systems we are watching in the tropics. Neither is a threat to Texas or the Gulf of Mexico. Both will bring rain to Central America but are blocked from coming into the Gulf because of our front.
Hurricane season runs through November 30th, but SE Texas has never had a storm hit past October 15th. The reason is our cold fronts block storms from moving north. Fronts steer them east. We’ll probably have a few more storms but if they hit the United States it will be along the east coast.
10-day Forecast:
The bad news is our lack of rain on the 10-day forecast. There are also several days we get near 90°.
