As Seen on TV Tuesday: Battle Balloons Color Burst

It is so hot out, it can be a challenge finding new ways to help your kids burn off energy and get some fresh air.
Battle Balloons Color Burst may be the answer. They are water balloons filled with color.

We asked meteorologist Justin Stapleton to have a blast and show us if they're worth the money in this  segment of As Seen on TV Tuesday.

Stapleton assembled his four daughters, who donned white T-shirts for the balloon battle. Battle Balloons screw onto your water hose, allowing you to fill 40 balloons in just a few seconds. There are three bundles, to give you a total of 120 water balloons. The Battle Balloons we asked Stapleton to test are filled with food coloring. The commercial claims,

"Color Burst is non-toxic, non-staining food color, so it's completely safe and it washes out of clothes."
That is the claim we wanted to test.

When Stapleton's daughters broke the balloons, we could easily see the colors inside were not as bright and vibrant as the colors in the commercial. The girls had a blast regardless. Afterwards, Stapleton threw the stained shirts into the washing machine. Sure enough, all of the color came right out.

"And look at that," said Stapleton, holding up one of the white T-shirts. "100 percent back to white. Every single one of them is totally white."

Battle Balloons Color Burst cost us $12.88 at Walmart. Stapleton and his daughters say they are worth the money.
