We could get another 2-4" of rain with heavy downpours of 6" in some areas.
Flood Watch: Madison, Houston, Trinity, San Jacinto and Walker Counties.
The flood threat also comes with a chance for severe thunderstorms that may produce hail and damaging winds.
Sunday 9 AM:
Tracking a line of severe storms to the north of us in areas like Waco to Lufkin. Also tracking scattered showers in areas south of I-10 near Damon, Liverpool, Santa Fe, near Trinity Bay and Galveston.
Sunday 12 PM:
Tracking widespread rain for the majority of the viewing area with heavier rain between I-45 and I-10 near Galveston and Trinity Bay.
Sunday 1:30 PM
Still tracking widespread rain with a chance of thunderstorms in Houston between I-610.
Sunday 5 PM:
Still tracking widespread rain with a more severe weather threat in areas like Conroe, Huntsville and Kingwood.
Sunday 7:30
Still tracking widespread rain with more severe weather in areas like Brenham, Bryan, Crockett, Huntsville and Lufkin.
Sunday Night:
Storms will continue to press southeast, bringing heavy downpours, strong winds and the potential for hail. Storms will continue to fire off behind the main line mainly north of I-10.
