When deputies arrived at the church, they said five vehicles had been broken into. The owner of one of the vehicles told investigators several items were missing from his car.

Deputies were able to find Williams and Nelms using vehicle information collected from a previous case involving a string of car burglarizes that had occurred in the area over the pass few weeks.

Deputies said the vehicle and the men were found in the 2500 block of Lake Woodlands Drive in the Northshore Park neighborhood. According to deputies, the men had marijuana, items stolen from the church and several other suspected stolen goods with them.

Montgomery County authorities said the investigation is still ongoing.
