Astros mascot Orbit is looking for a sidekick

Do you have what it takes to be a mascot handler?

HOUSTON – Orbit is a busy guy.

He represents his team in the community. He entertains fans at the games. And he has to throw shade at players on the other team. He's good at all of it. But when you're the mascot for the World Series champions, you deserve a little extra help.

That's why the team is looking for an assistant for Orbit.

The official job title is "mascot handler."

According to the job posting, candidates should be "outgoing, organized and motivated."

It's a part-time position, with responsibilities that include helping Orbit take pictures with fans and sign autographs. The mascot handler also carries mascot supplies, maintains the condition of the costume, and acts as the "eyes, ears and voice" for Orbit.

The job list also includes a list of qualifications a candidate should have, as well as physical requirements.

Orbit has a lot of energy, so you have to be able to keep up with him!
