HOUSTON – A bond hearing has been set for a man charged in a murder-for-hire plot in River Oaks.
Leon Jacob is currently in jail on no bond, accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill his ex-girlfriend and his current girlfriend's ex-husband.

His current girlfriend, Valerie McDaniel, has already bonded out of jail.
Jacob was previously charged with assaulting and stalking his ex-girlfriend, whom authorities said was the focus of the plot.
Jacob's bond hearing is April 12.
