HOUSTON – Here is the latest information on government and court closures due to inclement weather Tuesday in the Houston area:
All Harris County offices and all City of Houston offices (including libraries, city parks, health clinics) will be closed on Tuesday.

Houston residents scheduled for trash collection Tuesday can expect collection on Wednesday. Normal trash collection schedules will resume Thursday.
Jury Assembly for Harris County Courts has been cancelled for Tuesday, Jan. 28. Jurors summoned for duty Tuesday do not need to appear and do not need to reschedule, according to the Harris County District Courts.
All Harris County courts will be closed Tuesday.
Municipal courts will be closed, as will U.S. Immigration Court.
There will be no jury service on Tuesday for the City of Houston Municipal Courts. Individuals who were scheduled for jury service on Tuesday will be rescheduled and will be notified by mail of their new date.
There will be no trials (by Judge or Jury) on Tuesday for the Houston Municipal Courts. All trials will resume on Wednesday. Anyone scheduled for trials on this day must come in person to receive a new trial date Wednesday through Monday, February 3.
Resets will be given in person at all City of Houston court locations beginning Wednesday through 9 p.m., Monday, February 3. You're asked to visit the Municipal Court's website for information on all court locations. Please note that if an individual fails to reset their case(s) during this reset period (January 28 - February 3), an arrest warrant will be issued.

Harris Health System will close a majority of its outpatient clinics and specialty facilities on Tuesday. All emergency/trauma centers and inpatient care at Harris Health's Ben Taub, Lyndon B. Johnson and Quentin Mease hospitals, will remain open, as will the Riverside Dialysis Center.
The Harris County Jail will be closed to inmate visits Tuesday due to potentially hazardous travel conditions for visitors and staff. Routine visitation hours will resume Wednesday, weather conditions allowing.
All Tax Assessor-Collector's Offices will also be closed Tuesday. Property taxes are due on Friday, Jan. 31. Taxpayers are encouraged to visit the HCTax website to pay property taxes online.
All Harris County Department of Education locations, including the14 Head Start centers and four school campuses, Academic and Behavior Center (ABC) East and West and Highpoint North and East, will be closed Tuesday.
NASA's Johnson Space Center as well as Space Center Houston will be closed Tuesday.
Only mission essential personnel are to report to Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base on Tuesday.
All Montgomery County offices are closed on Tuesday.
The City of Sugar Land says all City offices will be open on Tuesday during normal business hours. Regular solid waste collection will begin on time.
