Is your car or truck on a thief's must-have list?

HOUSTON – Trucks remain the popular target for vehicle thieves in Houston.

The Houston Police Department released its most-stolen vehicles list for the month of August.

Chevrolet, Ford and Dodge trucks are the top three. Honda and Chevrolet cars round out the top five.

Here is the complete list, including how many were stolen, for August 2016:
