HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a wheelchair-bound man in northeast Houston.
It happened at around 1:45 p.m. Monday at the Crofton Place Apartments at 9555 Crofton Street.
Investigators say the man killed was confined to a wheelchair. A black man in a black shirt and blue jeans was seen fleeing the scene, according to police.
The victim went by the nickname "Spider."
Police say there were several witnesses but do not know the motive for the shooting.
