FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – A Friendswood woman was arrested last week after police said she shot at her daughter and then kicked an investigator.
The incident happened at 10:23 p.m. Oct. 12 at a home in the 5400 block of Timpani Drive.

According to Friendswood police, officers arrived at the scene and were told by a 16-year-old girl that her mother had threatened to kill her and shot at her.
Police said a negotiator was called to the scene and talked 52-year-old Kathy Jo Havard into surrendering to officers.
During an investigation, Havard kicked a crime scene technician, police said.
Havard was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting an arrest or search. She was being held in jail on a $30,000 bond.
