SHERMAN, Texas – A 29-year-old man from Trophy Club, Texas, has been sentenced to federal prison for child pornography violations, U.S. Attorney Brit Featherston announced Wednesday.
According to court records, Jayce Craft utilized an online file hosting service and online accounts to upload child pornography into a cloud storage account.

When agents searched Craft's home in 2015, they seized electronic media belonging to Craft that was found to contain a substantial amount of child pornography.
In addition, investigators said Craft had distributed child pornography to, and received files from, other individuals via e-mail.
As part of his plea, Craft admitted that the files depicted children engaged in sexually explicit activity, as well as sadistic/masochistic abuse.
Craft was indicted by a federal grand jury on Oct. 14, 2015, and charged with child pornography violations.
Craft pleaded guilty on July 28, 2016, to distribution of child pornography and was sentenced to 240 months in prison Wednesday.
The case was prosecuted as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice.
Led by United States Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS), Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state and local resources to better locate, apprehend and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as to identify and rescue victims.
